My first blog....  I aim to keep clients and friends up-to-date with upcoming photo events I am participating in. 

I also want to share my garden blossoms & woes (usually deer related). 

I have also set a goal of exploring 52 walking trails, from Ladysmith to Courtenay Comox area in the next 52 weeks, and will share some photos taken on the trails each week.

Wacky Woods trail may end at George's home
82-year-old George Sawchuk has decorated the woods behind his Fanny Bay, BC home with his eclectic sculptures creating what is know locally as " the Forest Gallery"  'The Wacky Woods" and various other names...

The walk is a mostly shady, flat, but uneven meandering trail, through woods.

 Turn onto Ships Point Road across from the Fanny Bay community centre,  left on Little Way, left on Bates Dr, & left again on Bates Drive.  Go to the dead end & head onto trail into the woods.  You may end up in Georges yard, and that is OK as he welcomes visitors...if you comply with his sign.
